Grand Aire Express was another ad-hoc air charter company that was in the cargo "vortex" of the US's rust-belt. Having bases in SDF and TOL gave them access to all sorts of freight that needed lift, mostly for the automotive/manufacturing industry. Grand Aire also took advantage of cargo brokers like Active Aero, flying freight whenever and wherever they could. They also flew for the likes of Ford, GM, Daimler, John Deere, Johnson Controls, along with all sorts of freight forwarders. TNT's North American network was serviced by several airlines - Grand Aire Express was one such carrier, even going as so far as having one of their planes painted in the full TNT livery (at the time). Sadly, Grand Aire developed an abysmal safety record. All of these accidents would eventually catch the eyes of the Fed's. Grand Aire still exists today, but as an FBO and broker of cargo transportation services, both by ground and air.

They operated a bunch of Falcon 20's, Metro II's, Piper Aerostars, and several rather unique HansaJet's on a wide-range of cargo/ad-hoc flying. Even with the data I was able to extrapolate, it's only good enough for 1 Falcon and 6 Metro's. Until there's more data on where they flew to or who they flew for, this is all I'm able to generate. Plus, there are no AI models for the HansaJet or the Piper Aerostar - not for FS9, anyway.
(I heard stories about GAE from the ROA FBO guys: One where they were loading up several GAE HansaJet's with broken down pallets of soda or beer. Because the HansaJet isn't the largest cargo aircraft in the world, GAE would send several of them, just to meet the requirements of the customer. If the cargo could break-down, they'd figure out how to load it to the gills, send it on its way, and then it was on to the next one.)
