Hi to all !
As I might have told in another post, I am very new into repainting aircraft and the quality of my work is still far from the standard of many of you.
However, I hope to eventually improve over Time and I really enjoy doing it.
As Part of installing 1998 traffic, I am now doing several missing liveries (or at least liveries I couldn't find) that come on my way.
I will try to upload them regularly on avsim and put the link in this post.
I would be very happy if this can be a good addition to some of you; as much as I enjoyed all the ressources I could find here !
Of course all suggestions and remarks are more than welcome.
Cheers.
Arnaud

Cool stuff! Thank you for these. Hoping to have Avianca 1998 done within the next few months. piper has already had the FAIB 767s painted. What a cool livery that was. When was that Garuda 737-200 active? Another very cool bird. Happy to finally see that Condor livery on an FAIB model. If you're going to paint Fokker 27s, I'd recommend painting up the Christian Page models. They look much better and actually represent the different types of Fokker 27s instead of just one like the DWAI model. Same goes for the AIG DC-9 over AIA, much more modern model. Ideally, you want to make your efforts last in people's sims for time to come! So using the best models ensures that they are used longer. If you need help finding any paint kits, people here can help! Very nice work.

Thanks a lot for you message !
What you say about the models choice make sense and I will try to choose modern models. To be fair, I think I mainly choosed the models for these repaints based on paintkit immediate availability on my computer. But finding a Pk for AIG should be easy; as for Christian Page Fokker, I will ask around if I can't find it.
The Garuda 732 was shortly in fleet from 03/97 to 06/98, leased from Transmile, a Malaysian carrier !

I will have to renumber the aircraft list for better parking at airports in Indonesia so I won't do it right away, but I'll make a v2 for that with a link to your paint. Thank you for that, glad to see this aircraft in our sims with 98 traffic.

Air Namibia fleet for 1998. I discovered while doing these that the company sadly stopped operation one month or so ago... Liveries for Be1900 and DH8 might not be exactly as they were at that Time but couldn't find any 1998 pictures of them. I suspect they might have had the new tail as the Boeings but prefered to stick to the retro tail of the pictures I had !

AWEESOME! I know you made eth72s a happy man! I am very happy to see someone else interested in these African goodies! Well done! While photos are limited for Air Namibia 1998, I am pretty sure you did it correctly and the props were in the old colors, best I can tell. EDIT: For those interested, Air Madagascar is mostly done for 1998 and uploaded among the "Incomplete Airlines" files. Basically, I didn't feel like doing the massive amount of DHC-6 flights, but the larger planes (ATR, 732, 733, 763, 742) are all done and may be found here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rq_l9OVmm5qL2XfP8hggPBOk3ZLg6rmH?usp=sharingAir Namibia also had an all-white 737 leased from SAA in 1998, it is a very simple paint so I can do it myself eventually if you don't care for it. Basically just the registration with almost no other markings LOL: www.jetphotos.com/photo/6042031

Cool, thanks alot for these ! I was actually using a mix of 1983's and 2005's plans to match the fleet of 1998; not the best...

Cool, thanks alot for these ! I was actually using a mix of 1983's and 2005's plans to match the fleet of 1998; not the best... Every airline in here is partially completed, with all flights completed to the project countries\regions listed in the 1998 flightplans thread. The idea is, for example, that even though Delta isn't done, you can go to Hawaii or Japan and see all the Delta flights, so at least SOME parts of the world are 100% complete and you can fly from one place to another and see all the real traffic(includes almost all of Africa): drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1Ot0KzDaUBVeoaI8RLlOw-1hsM5mDqaxB
