Hi,
I have just painted the All Nippon livery for the PAI L1011-1 model.
Does anyone know about the PAI L1011 model? Is it a LOD model and framerate friendly? It doesn't say anything in the specifications on the PAI homepage...
I quite like the look of that tristar. One thing bothering me are the transparent windows. Is there any way to get them black?
Which AI Tristar model do you people like most?

PAI L1011-1: 4327 polys, 3LODs PAI L1011-3: 4347 polys, 3LODs CDAI L1011-100: 5027 polys, 7LODs DWAI L1011-100: 3078 polys, 5LODs There's also a CDAI L1011-500 but I don't have it installed, so I can't give you a poly count..
In addition to the transparent windows, the PAI models have so much dynamic shine that they almost glow in the dark.
On the other hand, the PAI paintkits tend to be friendlier to repainters.

Plycount is not everything, but I'd say the DWAI Tristar is the best available. The strong point of the PAI models are the FDE's. I use them for many similar aircrafts, but you need to adjust the "LIGHTS" and "CONTACT POINTS" section. On a site note: Even PAI uses the DWAI Tristar for the newest official packages.
