For his Western Pacific 727s, they were active in 1996 and possibly 1997. I run 1997 plans in my 1996-1997 AI traffic, so I just plugged them in replacing 2 of the house livery planes that started appearing in numbers in the end. I highly doubt 727s were listed in any schedules, so real 727 plans will probably never come.
I will eventually get to the rest of these, several are finished.

Been reading up on Deregulation Knockouts 2: Western Pacific used those 727’s on runs to the east coast, routes like COS-EWR/IAD.

Well, Only way then would be if the author of the 96 or 97 plans has the RAW MRAI format still. Otherwise you'd have to take AIFP and take out all the EWR/IAD flights one by one and put them on a new airplane.

They probably did all those flights but it wouldn’t surprise me if they used those 727’s while some of the main fleet was in heavy m/x checks.

Thanks guys!
Avsim must have taken a break or something because I uploaded these shortly after I previewed them.
Hopefully they're up soon.

A teaser of what I am working on. Basically, updating all repaints from the mid 90's Mexico Retro AI packages to newer models. The above is for the FS9 version of the model but I initially did it for the 4096x4096 file and downscaled to 1024x1024 just to preview it on FS9 (the paint kit should be renamed pain kit). The DC-10 on the background has also been updated from DXT3 to 32Bits (which is what I will be doing for all textures).
On a side note, I tried installing the FAIB A320 on Prepar3d V5.3 so I can also start working on the Mexicana A320's as well. However, I installed the Airtours International texture and added the traffic bgl file into scenery/world/scenery butnothing shows up on the sim. I installed the P3dV4 model files from FAIB and followed the instructions in the read me. Are the models only compatible with V4 and not V5?
I am still new to P3D

Looks great!
P3Dv4 native models would not be the problem. The only models that wouldn't show up are anything FS9 native and earlier. (2002, 2000, etc)
If it's not showing up, my guess would be there is a problem with the fltsim entry for the texture or the traffic file. Is the traffic bgl FS9 native? I don't know how they would "react" in P3D, but I remember that in FSX it would prevent any FSX-native traffic file from showing up. If you have AIFP installed, I'd use it to check for any FS9 traffic files, and if they are present, convert them to FSX.

Hi everyone, Despite being busy with work, I've been able to get some textures done but at a very slow pace. After finally being able to get the FAIB A320 work on P3D I painted the 16 textures for Mexicana from the 90s. Here is a preview. After getting the A320s done, I started working on the 727's. These are going to take a while since they are a total of 30+ different textures (just Mexicana, not counting other airlines). I will be re-working all the tail designs basically from scratch since some of the colors in the textures included in the first package I released many years ago are a bit off. In fact, some of the designs are wrong as well. In addition, since this project involves HD textures, I am re-working the 727 paint kit to come up with 2048x2048 textures in an effort to be consistent with textures for other models that already have a 2048x2048 textures. Here is a preview so you can see a comparison of what I had in the old package (DXT3 1024x1024 in FS2004) and what you will expect to get for P3D (DDS5 2048x2048), I will be adding more details to the paint kit to make it look nicer. You can see that I added shinier engine intakes but I am looking to add other details. Again, I don't think I will get this done anytime soon but I am getting there. Cheers Eduardo

Very cool! Mexicana is in progress as I've completed most US-bound flights to see them at US airports, but no domestic more or less. Too bad their schedule doesn't have aircraft types on it, but I'll try to find someone interested in finishing it as I won't have time.

What is your source for the Mexicana FPs? is it a timetable or an OAG? Although the textures above are intended for the 1990-1995 era, I also plan on doing the textures for the 1998 era also since they had a different livery. By 1998, all of their airplanes had the grey belly and green tail. When I do the Aeromexico ones, I will use the same base textures and just change logos. I'm loving how they look like with PBR. Speaking of such, where do I get the FAIB models with PBR?

PBR-equipped FAIB models are (as far as I know) unavailable outside of AIG's OCI program. You'd have to install some airlines to get the models you want.
