Yes, this has been out for about two years as a $5 payware, I guess they decided they got their money's worth out of it and released it as freeware. It's an excellent little package, and Pavel Hvatkin, the original freeware AI Il-18 designer must have had a hand in it, because it uses the same texture template. This means that all of the PHAI Il-18 textures painted to date should work with the basic Il-18D model in this package, after a DDS conversion of course. The package was well worth me being one of the $5 rubes, lol.
Woo Hoo! ... in a good way.

Thanks for the info Mike, as for the old textures being used they are compatible, sort of. The mapping is different on the front so you end up with the flight deck in place of the windows, if people are proficient enough to give them a face lift then it's 100% compatible but I'm not really so they're not

I will check it out and see what I can do, at the worst case, it's some new repainting, lol. It looks like the basic package covers all current in-service aircraft, so just some historical catch-up painting if need be.
