So, good news... I received blanket permission from Andy Carroll at AIG (original paint kit designer) to release the DC-9-50 Spraykit on behalf of Alpha India Group. I am fiddling with the EAI/APG kit that cgold sent me, and restoring it into a release-grade paint kit which matches the layer format of the other AIG DC-9 kits; and I will upload it to AVSIM and Flightsim tomorrow or Monday. Obviously, I did my bit with this new paint kit as well... :{)

I got ultra-busy with life this last week, and didn't meet any deadlines I stated last weekend (sorry). I am re-doing the FJI stripe on some of the aircraft, in what I have come to call the "1970s Waterbed Sheets" livery. Realistically, some of the people on this forum might not know what that means, lol. Here are a couple more FJI paints I squeaked out this week... The FJI fleet is quite diverse. I still have the obvious 73G and 744 to do, but also an ATR423, two BN-2 Trislanders (my own model), and an EMB-110 to finish things off. So, patience, and I should get this all wrapped up and uploaded next week. :{)

So, here is the re-worked HS748 (I found the rest of 'em), and oddly enough, painting my own model for this airline was quite a tough little job, the chickens came home to roost on the Trislander, lol.... Very weird thing about the Trislander, FJI only had one, in only one serial, but the 1975-scheme pix I have distinctly has DQ-FCC on the engine, haven't figured that one out yet. :{)

Woah, I didn't know they had ATRs or EMB-110s. I guess the ATRs were sadly gone by 1998, damn shame as they look very cool. Thanks for these!

They only had the 1980s-schemed ATRs from around 1986-1992, two of them leased over time (I think one-at-a-time). The next ATRs to show up were for Pacific Sun in the mid-2000s, and now they're all Air Fiji. The EMB-110 is from 1981, same deal, only around for a few years. Neither aircraft evolved into the next newer livery for the airline (six livery changes in 30 years).

Revised BAC-111 job, found the rest of these as well, 3 serials over 10-12 years. There are some odd qualities of the (older) model which change the character of some of the colors here and there, it's an FS2002 model modded to FS9 AI standard, so it isn't perfect, but it's the best AI BAC-111 model available. :{)

Another hodge-podge fleet, LNI Lion Air from 1999-2001, first paint for me for the SBAI/UTT Yak-42 model. :{)

WOW Indonesian Yak-42s?! Cool! Oh by the way, since you did that hybrid, any chance of an HD Nations Air Express 737-200? I have a 96 timestable for them, I can do the plans if you crank out a paint.

I'll look into the Nations Air Express after I take care of some other stuff..... I have the DHC-6 for FJI done, re-done actually. I did this paint five years ago, but I took it back into the shop, color-matched it and put new graphics on it to match the rest of the current fleet project. Also, I re-arranged the windows a little bit to basically turn the DHC-6-300 model into a shorter -100 aircraft that FJI used. I have the 73G, 738, and 744 left, and a suprise, a true hybrid from 1984 coming up. :{)

One more deep dip into the retro vault for FJI..... One really one-off hybrid Fokker 27, and some DeHavilland DH-114s that soldiered on for FJI into the late 70s. Done with the FJI props (finally), back to the 90s jets. :{)

So, here are EEZ A320s from 2001, and the FJI 737NGs. This compels me, of course, to paint one last 763 which didn't get the 2003 stripe until 2009. :{)

Revised 763s including the 2009 variant..... and the big Kahuna.... Photo-real is not really my thing, plus these are the two best photos I could find out of literally hundreds that I searched. The two islands are Beachcomber and Castaway Island Resorts, and I also tried to find pictures with the proper aspect, but could not. So, with my absolutely crappy photo-real editing skills, I got it done to the effect that this aircraft looks good from about 50 meters away (or preferable, further, lol). A big thanks to Kyle Meeks for custom Photoshop paintbrush tools I found somewhere, they helped me cover some of the really rude things I did to the photos. The 2003 DQ-FJL repaint literally took me about two weeks and one hour; two weeks to sort out the islands, and one hour to do the rest. Hope it works, and if somebody can do better, for the love of God please do so. A big upload scheduled for tomorrow, thirty-plus files.... :{)
