Christian,
Your paints which are available are phenomenal, I only finished something you started. I think I included the serial you painted, but you will see where I am going with that notion.

Here is the surprise, uploading to AVSIM as we speak. It's the Namib Air/Air Namibia 747SP-44, with 5 variations, for the FAIB 747SP PW model. This file should cover the entire service of the aircraft with NMB.

I appreciate your kind words, Sir Mike! Your work makes up a considerable amount of my sim - Civil and Military. To complement the DC-3's and DC-4's of Niger and Chad, I'm throwing in some military a/c as well. (Had a G-II, L-100, and an An-26 lying around for Chad and a few things for Niger as well )

Something else I have already painted but not uploaded yet is Safair L100-20/30, in 70s/80s/90s scheme. Those will be forthcoming by this weekend.

Hey Mike, Makes the textures of Aerocalifornia, Saro, Allegro, Aerocaribe, and others airlines 90's These are all good requests but the paintkit for the AIA DC-9 v2 hasn’t been released just yet. The AIG DC-9’s PK’s are complicated to use and aren’t user-friendly. Give it some time. We’re just glad to have Mike back after a much needed break.

Hey Mike, Makes the textures of Aerocalifornia, Saro, Allegro, Aerocaribe, and others airlines 90's The AIA V1 DC-9s may not be very good, but they're better than nothing, and all those airlines have already been painted.

Noob21, I agree, not that I wouldn't tackle some of the Mexican airlines in the future, but right now, I am still lost in Africa. I was painting some Thomas Ruth 727s this week, to have something to fly around with all of the new African AI I am producing, and discovered that there are no 1990s AI repaints for pretty much all of North Africa (notably Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia). The contemporary AI world (PAI, FSP) popped up from around 2001-2003, so the early AI paints were close to 90s, but not on the modern AI models. I might have to do something about that......

Actually I'm pretty sure Eduardo did some 90s Tunisair paints but yeah, as for the other north african paints, they're borderline non existent. That said, the more african paints, the better. I was hoping you'd get an itch for them, and my prayers have been answered. If only Erez could release a JT9D-70A 747 so you could redo some of your paints like the Nigeria Airways 747 leased from SAS and Air Madagascar 747.

Tunisia is pretty well covered. It’s Libya, Algeria, and Morocco that are all suffering from that lack of AI.

I remember, when others asked for repaints or help, it was suggested to them to do it themselves instead of asking/"harrasing". So, how about doing these repaints, instead of "harassing" others? To cite the consens supported with a likes of agreement: "feel glad on what others are doing for you in their spare time, don't demand." or "Harassment only leads to valuable contributors leaving the hobby and only makes our world grayer and duller." So, thanks to Mike my desire for retro traffic is slowly increasing again, after having been crushed earlier. Thanks a lot, Mike. (y) Kind regards.

There's nothing wrong with requesting something you want from a creator your respect and who's work you like. It becomes wrong when you do it so much that they don't even want to continue that work, especially when you refuse to give back much if anything to the community besides a select few people, while we usually very openly give away our work to the masses. All I can say.
