Normally I don't add a lot of weathering or grunge, but in this case, it's definitely necessary. Every Shorts in the Olympic fleet was dirty most of the time. Olympic Airways Shorts 330

Back in the States. A few minor liberties taken since there are exactly 4 photos of the entire Freedom Metro fleet. Luckily, the only real difference between these and when they were with Commuter is the red stripe instead of gold. Freedom Airlines Swearingen Metro I

Doing some spotting around Cleveland reminded me that I had a couple Convairs I'd been meaning to paint. chrisP Christian - do I remember reading somewhere you're planning the 640 too? Wright is towards the top of my list too! Air Ontario Convair 580

Thank you for that wonderful repaint of the DLT Shorts SD 3-30. When I went to school in my hometown Saarbrücken in the early 1980's, I saw that plane every morning departing from EDDR to EDDF while I was waiting for the schoolbus. Some years later the flying "Shoebox" (as I called it) was replaced by DLT's Embraer EMB 120 on that route. Nice to bring theses memories back to life again ... !

Amazing stuff Brian. Just curious, did the Air Ontario trillium tail make it in 1983 or was that the later 80's?

Really looking forward to your Wright Air Lines repaint! My hometown airline. Thanks for Freedom, nice to see them scattered around CLE now. My buddy cut his teeth flying Freedom Convairs and now pilots UPS 747s.

Amazing stuff Brian. Just curious, did the Air Ontario trillium tail make it in 1983 or was that the later 80's? Best I can tell, only two aircraft wore the red tail with the Celtic cross for a handful of months around 86. It was likely so they could flex the aircraft in between their own ops and their Air Canada Connection ops. The rest of the aircraft ended up in the full Air Canada Connection livery.
