recently I asked Umair Ayaz, a talented painter from Pakistan, if he could repaint some models for the retro-AI-community. So far he has worked mostly on flyable aircraft (Project OpenSky, SGA etc.), but I think we have a new AI-painter... What he writes sounds very promising!
Here's an excerpt from his e-mail:
"It will be a pleasure for me to paint AI aircraft in classic PIA livery of 80's. Thanks for mentioning model designer names, as it will make things easier for me. Hopefully, I will finish these repaints by middle of next month, as currently I am preparing for my Admission test in a university. Regards Umair Ayaz"
By the way, these are the models I requested:
AI-Aardvark B747-200, EvolveAI DC-10-30, Dee Waldron's B720, B707-300 and F27.

Travelsonic (too lazy to login: With FS2020 coming out in 6 days, I can't help but wonder what this will mean for the Retro AI community - in terms of bringing retro AI to FS2020, legacy support for FS9/X, etc.

chasensfo: FS2020 TECHNICALLY can take AI from other platforms(P3Dv4\5), however, just like FS2002-P3Dv3 models needed lots of conversion to work in P3Dv4 and it took years to get this many working, same will go for FS2020 as they don't use .mdl files.
