Hey guys, Now that I'm working on flightplans for these 90s start-up, charter, and cargo airlines, I'm not expecting paints to exist for many of them. I will keep this thread updated with open requests for any plans I complete, I will take the requests down once I or someone else volunteers to do it. No worries if no one ends up having the time or is interested in picking up the projects. I don't mind having a go at it myself, but just know that not only am I busy but I'm also a crappy painter, so don't expect too much detail on my paints but do expect them to take forever to be finished. Links to existing/completed paints and the flightplans and other files required for these carriers can be found in the flightplan archive thread hot-linked above. Here is what we need as of now: Leisure Air 1995757-200Sterling One 1995 727-200Sky Trek International 1997727-200Champion Air 1995727-100 with and without Colorado Avalanche logo(Champion should be easy enough, most planes are ex MGM-Grand hybrids). 727-200 ex-MGM727-200 ex-Express OneDC-8-62 Ex-MGMTrans American Charter 1994DC-9-30Bae-146-100Rich International Airways 1995L-1011-500 New ColorsDC-8-62 New ColorsDC-8-63 New ColorsThanks for any help! And if you aren't a contributor, remember this isn't our job. It's our hobby and we contribute where we can. Be patient. That being said, I'm happy that you enjoy what we do. -Chasen

I think I have an AIA 722 Charter America somewhere. And that A300 looks great! It has the colors and lines of Moscow Airways kinda.

If you can find the texture, I would really appreciate it. Otherwise I guess they wouldn't be all that hard to do, but it'll be weeks before I actually get around to finishing these repaints I'm sure. I think I found a 727-100/200 repaint package on Avsim but it is a dead link.

There's a few more US charter carriers that have not been covered. Some of those that come to my mind are:
Av Atlantic Miami Air Great American Airways Casino Express Express One (cargo & pax charters)
There's more but I can't remember the names right now but I remember seeing them on photos on flickr.

The 727-200F is available on Avsim and Flightsim. The 727-100F is now up on my Box.com account under the "Lost Avsim Files" folder. It was originally done by Francesco Zoja.

The plans will come right after Leisure Air. From my research, in 98/99 Charter America was flying from CVG and ELP and later moved to service the Emery World Wide operation in Dayton, OH. I'll keep working on what I can, a friend is about to give me a bunch of 90s timestables and I have Sierra Expressway now, just have to pick it up from my parents house tomorrow. Funny that in the 90s, an airport like MRY had 7 or 8 carriers all lined up, and today you rarely see more than 2-3 airliners there. 6AM in the sim will show, Delta(Skywest), United, United Express(Westair), USAir Express(Stateswest), Reno Air Express(Mid Pacific Air), American Eagle(Wings West), and Sierra Expressway all lined up at the terminal waiting for the first flights of the day. Hell, in the late 90s UA even flew 757s on SFO-MRY. I've ridden in a Brasilia that did the flight in 17 minutes! Different times for sure.

Does anyone recommend a specific tutorial for re-painting in photoshop? I've been "out of the game" for too long, not making any head-way with these and a lot of repaints need to be done for thee plans.

Wow! Sweet livery! The Presidential A300 is available on my Box.com account. Best news I've heard all day, cheers! Speaking of Presidential, interesting little story. My job at SFO allows me to do some pretty cool stuff, which recently included pulling a few shifts in the former FAA tower, turned ramp control tower, which is below the current FAA tower and served as the FAA tower from the 60s-80s. It is still packed with old goodies left behind in filing cabinets, trash to most but gems to nerds like us. Inside one, I found a whole bunch of old paperwork from 1995 for noise ordnance that kept track of all departures from 2330-0530 with many details(enough to gather Tower Air's 9PM SFO-JFK redeye rarely left before 12). There were several pages of controllers trying to figure out what one of the movements was as they didn't know what airline it was. It was an A300 departing to LGB in the middle of the night. It took them close to 1 year to identify it as a Presidential Airlines A300 and fill in the codes, by which time the airline was out of business and couldn't be violated, as they received complaints and deviated from noise abatement procedures. Must have been an odd charter, wish I knew before, would have included that in the plans once. Then again, they aren't on Avsim yet, perhaps I will. As for Sierra Expressway, they flew one of the most random and scenic airline routes I know of, Monterey, CA to Lake Tahoe, CA. I made sure the Otter livery gets to preform that route in my plans. I have very impressive ORBX scenery in P3D for both airports and the surrounding areas, can't wait to share video/screenshots with you guys of the trip with all the retro traffic. The 90s California regional airports were booming in the 90s, both TVL and MRY had a handful of airlines serving them with various equipment.
