Trislander released, 3 models and a whole pack of repaints representing most major users over time (only 72 were built, a pity for such a versatile STOL taxi). Also, I released the first two parts of the Lockheed Constellation project, Parts 1 and 2 are the military-use Connies, 23 different models in all, and nearly 70 repaints. There are a couple of later-use civilian freighters in the mix, but more are coming with the civilian models very soon. The aforementioned tsunami of repaints is going to start trickling in at AVSIM this week as well.

Got them all Mike. Excellent models, and almost 70 repaints, what else would we want. Thanks for your efforts.

The tsunami arrives.... Sometimes packaging takes as long as painting, getting screenshots, copying entries, etc..... I just unloaded 79 files with around 110 or more repaints to AVSIM. All the aforementioned group, with some extra stuff thrown in..... ALM Antillean Airlines DC-8-33/55, DC-9-10/30 (AIG DC-9s) Aerolineas Mundo DC-7CF and 2x C-121A Connies (goes with my C-46 from the update package) Aerochago DC-7CF (goes with my Aerochago Connies in the part 2 release) Haiti Air Freight DC-6 (goes with the DC-4 from the original package) HS748 and 2x DC-6 for Guyana Airways Lots of Caribbean 4-engine props in this group from the 70s-80s, and a little bit into the 90s. I still owe Christian a Dominicana A300B4-200 from around 1992, but now I have the time, lol. I plan on Argo and Quisqueyana with the next round of Connies, I already have a QAS DC-3 done, this time using the SBAI model. This is the first paint of the next wave. Flightplans, anyone.......?

I have crude FP generated for all of these airlines, I use a mix of representative ones based upon original destinations by research, and some 80s- to early-2000s for some airlines still in service to the same destinations as back in the day. The purists will turn green and have to take a nap, lol, but the aircraft pop up just fine in the sim this way. It's a lot of fun motoring around the Gulf in a Connie dodging DC-6s and DC-10s at the same time. Very cool that up through the mid 70s, a Dominican charter was still flying Connie routes to Europe (Quisqueyana, paints forthcoming). I have no problems posting the FP if I don't get a bunch of negativity on the complete and shameless inaccuracy of them. I may just do it here on this forum, so the people who really want them can get them here. To me, it's all about the eye candy, not necessarily the accuracy. If it was accurate, the AI engine would fly the aircraft right, right? Part 3 of the Connies will be out by the weekend, it will cover L-049 through L-749, and will have some critical fixes for the C-121 package (specifically). I left the nose logo light in when I swapped in the radar nose fuselage, so there will be corrected models to remove that. Also, on the paint runs for the C-69, I forgot to enable the shadows and dirt layers, that will be addressed as well. Everything for the update will be a copy-and-overwrite affair. There will be a noticeable lack of L-649 paints, only four, as only two airlines (Eastern and Chicago & Southern) utilized the 649s as such without immediately converting them to 749s.

Eh, sometimes ya need some placeholder FPs until someone can get around to scrounging some legit FPs together. Now I noticed you've done a lot of repaints for Central and South America, who's next?

Just uploaded Part 3 of the Connies, covers the L-049/649/749, 9 models and 40 repaints. Quisqueyana has five serials (not all used at the same time) and Argo has one more, for the Caribbean explosion.... Now, on to the 1049s, that will be a part in of itself.....
