Hi Mike
Thanks very much for all the new paints. You recently uploaded a THY Boeing 727-200 repaint, (avsim file called aia_b722_thy_327833), but the paint in the upload doesn't match the screenshot and is dated 2008. I think it might be your previous paint uploaded again by mistake.

Yup, the AWE repaint contains the 1990s version instead of the 1980s one.

Here is the benefit of being a dual-purpose hobbyist. This is a Canadair CL-44D in the colors of Bayu Indonesia Cargo, and both the model and paint are MPAI originals. This model is done except for flap/gear door cutouts and FDE work, so expect it sometime in May. I will be doing this variant, the stretched J variant, and the Bristol Britannia 100/200/300 series since they share a common airframe/wings, and the engines are only slightly different than the Canadair.

Awesome! Some even flew into the late 1980's and 1990's like Wrangler's a/c and Tradewinds'! Thank you, good sir!

The Bayu paint is from the mid-80s, and don't forget Aer Turas as well...... Also, I have some other huge surprises in store for 2015 specifically for retro AI, so stay tuned....... BTW, for the guys requesting AWE stuff, that happens to be my home-town airline, and it's already in the works, screenies to follow soon.......

I once saw a CL44 at Schipol and seeing that tail swung back put me off flying in one.No idea what airline it was but a USAF friend and family were flying back to the States on it.

Here is the painter's bill this week, an MEA 1970s-1990s fleet and a Syrianair 1980s fleet, minus Il-76s for now. The Tu-134 is the SBAI model, and the Tu-154M is the new TCAI model. These should be at AVSIM by tomorrow.

Good to hear when I don't have to paint something, lol.... Lots of talent out there, no need to corner the market. Anyways, here is the other half of MEA 70s-90s, so many 747s, so little time.......

Here is another CL-44, the stretched J-variant, which got passed around quite a bit in the 80s and 90s for freighter work. These are mid-to-late 80s Aer Turas serials. These models should be released by the end of May.

Wow. Never thought i'd see those two appear in the AI world. The top one, BGO served with them from '79 onwards until it was eventually scrapped in DUB.
