I was working on it today, and noticed something, see if you can guess what it is: Tom, is there some kind of misalignment in the fuselage? I know it's not a texture issue, because that area is a single texture, yet has that misalignment. It's not a criticism or that big of a deal - it's just an AI model, but I was curious.

I heard it thru the grape-vine... Tom is rebuilding a bunch of his AI models. You might just sit back and wait and see what happens. Dee

Dee Oh, I know he is - and I also know the M404 isn't a very high priority plane. I've just been working on it because of the Southern FPs that both Raul and Andy have done that are awaiting a 404. It's not a big deal to me, I was just wondering why it looked that way - a couple of years ago, I did a TWA and Southeast 404 for AI, and I don't recall such a glaring issue - I'm thinking it is my video card, I had to find new drivers just to get FS to look right, all my flyable planes looked like Calder works, yet all the AI was fine, go figure. My system is a refurbed XPS 400, but I pulled its service tag in our database and found out it was a "refurb" because it had been fraudulently ordered, which means it's brand new and never came out of the box. By law, we can't resell anything that has left the factory as new, even if it really is. But, despite that, the Nvidia drivers that shipped with the card in the box didn't play nice with FS - an update from Nvidia's website cured it, as far as I know.

Hi Kris.
Looking at the screen shot is looks like a model issue. Is it OK on the left and side??
Looks like a panel out of position or even a "spare" lying on top. Does not look like a video problem. From the picture the nose goes back to the windows and this "panel" seems to be lying on top as you can see by the shadowing.
Check with Tom on this.
About 25% through coding the SO 1997 flight plans so when you have finished I'd like a copy to test them out.
I have your DC-9s already.

Hi,
Yes, it is a model issue. It has been fixed and you can download the updated model by reinstalling my AI package. If you've added any paint schemes to the old versions, just install to a temp file and move the updated files into your installation. That occurred in the last update, where I increased most of the fuselages from 8 to 12-14 sided versions.
I am in the process of improving the nacelles for the more common aircraft (16 instead of 8 sided), and am also adding airstairs to many of them.
Hope this helps,

Hi Tom.
Thanks for the conformation.
Hummmm. No co?ckpit allowed (?=c).
Now what happens if I write Sussex, the county which I live in.
OK. Sussex is OK but aircraft now have cockpits.... ;D
ROTFL.

I have no idea when I downloaded that model - for all I know, I got it when you put out the very first release for FS2002.
