Is a crazy good livery... I think this is from when JAT was under embargo (91-94) and had to stop their flights to New York. Most people from Serbia and Montenegro at this time flew through Macedonia or Bulgaria/Romania, so I guess they thought there would be a market. Probably stopped themselves just in time as the sanctions were lifted and their market reduced radically.
During the same time, Croatia Airlines was also planning to begin flights to JFK with a DC-10, even published it in one of their timetables. Flights never happened though. JAT never restarted their JFK flights either, far as I know (even though they are in the 1996 OAG).

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but I think that's a Diesel-10-30 on the postcard... The middle-wheel is very well hidden in the shadows. Otherwise, a very striking livery. :-)

That postcard is super-imposed? Wow... That looked really real... Like *really* real. Well-done for a 1990's "Photoshop."

Yeah unfortunately its bogus. I remember when this postcard came out and the buzz it generated. This happened in pre-Photoshop days so I'm not sure how they pulled it off. When everybody found out it was fake a lot of people got pissed. How ironic it will now be flying for real in our simulators twenty years later!
Best regards...Duncan

Here are some smart and simple DC-10-10's that I found recently: (Thank you Jason for that Turkish experimental liveried DC-10-10... That's one I've been eyeing for a while now too. )

Hi Jason,
you also plan to paint the Super71 in the earlier livery? That would be great!

I was trying to find info on that Aire D'Evasions but couldn't even find its iata/icao codes. That way, I could find info on the OAG. I guess a representative flight plan for it will be fine.
Nice livery by the way!!!
