Summer flight plan is submitted. Repaints are available by various authors. Time Air DHC7 and CV580 (Victoria/Vancouver shuttle) uploaded to Avsim today. With the Canadian flight plans from this site and the Canadian commuters done by Peter Canada is a very nice place to spot "the 80's". So far the retro AI news. In real life (yes, there is such thing) we refurbished the living/dining room and I broke the cable connection from the desk to the modem. I plan to install WLAN connection soon but currently I enjoy beeing offline at home. There's a wonderful world to explore and I just found out that there's something like a TV and a corner full a good (aviation) books. So I'm in no hurry to re-establish connection, I will check the forums/mails every few days when I'm at work. I will drastically reduce my computer-time, but the good news is the time I spend with it will be more "efficient" on flight planing and painting.

Many Thanks for this!
I was wondering the other day if there would be any 80s Air Canada plans, having them in my 1980s world would definetly fill things up!
Give me a few hours ill have registrations put in and be a very happy man lol
Two of the Air Canada planes ive ever flown on date from the 80s, however C-FVNM didnt join the fleet untill 1995 and C-FBEF only came in at the end of the decade (1988) so i probably wont see them in my set up.

Ok If anyones interested I managed to put registrations into Ralf's Plans. Had to do alot of editing though to fit the fleet at the time. Heres the details:
DC-9s - had to cut about 32 out of the plans, only the very innactive ones though, amounted to 277 flights a week, but the highest utilisation was only 15.3% and average of 7.2% i dont think it makes too big an impact
727s - cut 11 almost static 727s to make the fleet fit, 70 flights with an average utilisation of 8% and the highest being only 14.1%. Also included registrations of 2 Air Canada 727s that left the fleet in 1984, but since most people use these to represent the whole 1980s its hardly important
747s and 767s all fitted perfectly
Tristars - cut 2 L1011-500s to make it fit, they were flying the domestic YYZ-YVR run and I felt id prefer the international machines. Cant remember how many 100s I cut but it wasnt very many and only a few static machines.
Time Air is correct registrations to the best of my knowledge.
Anyone interested PM me, I have registrations in Ralf's Air India 1981 Plans and his British Airways 1986 also.
Thanks again for the plans Ralf

Hi Elliot, thanks a lot for your feedback, it's appreciated. I have to admit that compiling ACA '86 was a real mess. The real schedule was odd, almost no "A to B" and "B to A" flights as I was used to from the schedules I worked with before. Almost 50% of all flights did not show equipment used but "L10/767" or similar instead. For my own installation I like to delete all the low utilised AC's too, I kept the uploaded FP's as they are for all those who might search for a special flight and would miss it. I would appreciate if you'd sent me the plans that you have edited, my email can be viewed from my profile. Thank you.
