The answer is simple - smoking or non-smoking? There's a great shot in Jon Proctor's book on the 880 and 990 showing a Delta 880 streaking out of O'Hare, streaming black smoke behind it - beautiful. I know that it's terrible for the environment in real life, but this is a sim and it looks cool - so more smoke and screeching engines! Yes i love the Convair, but the Tristar is my absolute fav airliner... so you see my problem alas i think ill have to stick with 80s for now... when the new comp gets built ill set up FS to let me change eras on a whim... when ever i gets me enough $$$... You know I build computers on the side - not in competition for who I work for - but I might be able to score you some deals with my suppliers. A few years ago , I built the Nine Eye Technologies Déesse prototype, it's actually still my backup machine and very resilient. I used a 1.1Gb AMD Duron, a 128Mb nVidia video card, and two 40Gb HDDs. V2, which is now just in design stages, will use an 3 Gb Intel Quad-Core 2 Extreme proc, 4Gb of RAM and a base of 2 250Gb SAS HDDs running in a RAID 1 - basically it's a server with a quad-graphics card, PhysiX engine and as much stupid amounts of power that I can put in it and keep the build cost under $1000, USD.

At long last, the flightplans have been submitted. 3,000 flights+, columnar format, 9 points and redundant entries.... my eyes hurt The repaints are complete, too (I added the small US flags on the '8s). As usual, I'll avsim the lot when the flightplans become available here. Exit runway when able Christian ps: I'll post screenshots of Kristopher's 70s Atlanta in a few days, so stay tuned
