Been a while since I posted here... Here's a sneak peek at what's to come... Any guesses where this might be?

oooohhhhhh.... so close! Go south on I-40 and I-77 a little more... KSVH Statesville has a little 5000'-ish strip of asphalt where Piedmont Air Cargo had a variety of DC-3's and a leased DC-6B (from Universal) that flew in support of the textile, auto, and other varying industries/customers. The DC-3 pictured N272R has a big snout on the front but no model currently has such an edit. They also had a Beech D18 but no AI model exists for that just yet.

wow, no kidding, what year was this around They flew around 1996 - fell into the pages of yesteryear shortly after... That DC-6B lease hit them hard. The M/X on it was killing off their profits and capital big time.
