As I already reported over FlightSim.com, the textures of Air Vietnam and Military Air Command aren't shown. I added them several times, but got the same issue. Very strange.

I could download them both, but when I started the Sim with a small flightplan for the MAC plane to Frankfurt Rhein-Main AFB the Sim crashes while loading.

As I already reported over FlightSim.com, the textures of Air Vietnam and Military Air Command aren't shown. I added them several times, but got the same issue. Very strange. Bernard I just answered you on flightsim.com: You need to make sure that the .bmp are extracted to the proper folder (in this case texture.AirVietnam70 or texture.MAC70), under your CP AI Douglas DC-6B folder. I've added screenshots in my flightsim.com answer. |

Compiled, installed, booted up and no crash. I'm assuming you're spotting from EDDF. What day/time are you using?

I choose the time when the DC-6 should be in Frankfurt, on Monday around 11.30 UTC. The sound of the Sim stopped and it crashed.

New stuff!  Along with assorted repaints: Aeroflot:  Balkan:  CAAC:  CSA:  Interflug:  KGB Border Guards:  LOT:  Malev:  Tarom:  VVS (Soviet Air Force):  I've also uploaded domestic flightplans for Balkan, CSA, Interflug, LOT and Malev (1970). My (already released) flightplans for CAAC and Tarom already use the Il-14. For Aeroflot, I used Aleck's Aeroflot flightplans and, for the VVS and KGB border guards, I adapted the Soviet flightplans from MAIW. Exit runway when able Christian |

Thank you chrisP! So many variants too! Never realized the Il-14 had this many. I barely scratched the surface... The Il-14 was license-built in East Germany, Czechoslovakia and the People's Republic of China; each of those built the "standard" versions under their own name plus created some with a few quirks of their own. I've seen up to 60 variations!! I just focused on the possible combinations of weather radar, length and side blisters. I may have spent more time figuring out the variants than actually building the models, lol! Exit runway when able Christian |
