I just sent to Kris "representative" 1970s flightplans for some charter airlines: First up is Condor Flugdienst, to spice up your EDDF. The flightplans are based on Achim Stegemann's original 2006-2007 flightplans (used with permission) As usual, the repaints are ready and I'll avsim them when the flightplans get posted here. Exit runway when able Christian

I believe that the DC-10 was never deliverd in this livery and were deliverd in the all metal finish. I could be wrong though. Also can you do the 727-200 in Condor colors.

Wayyyyy back in '76, I visited the Lufthansa maintenance base at EDDF I remember a DE DC-10. I could be wrong, but it was a pretty impressive sight. I don't think there was an all-metal c/s back then. However, the metal literally is all there underneath the white top. It's just the matter of a couple of minutes with Photoshop.

Flight Plans are up now - turnaround is much quicker when I don't have a backlog

Hi Christian. Thanks for the flight plans and repaints. To be more accurate for the mid 70's remove the DC-10s and use Fritz and Max, the two 747-200s (D-ABYF & D-ABYH). The DC-10s did not arrive to about 1979/1980 and they were in the silver scheme as far as I can remember. Paul

You can use my 747-200PW from my mega pack at avsim.com. One more thing: The DC-10 with the blue stripe. Upload it to avsim if possible. It´s a good "what if" paint. Regards. -STEFAN-SUN_KING-

please, pretty please, pretty pretty please, pretty pretty please with sugar on top: no fleet requests. no fleet requests. no fleet requests. no fleet requests. no fleet requests.
I've already literally got a PILE of timetables which I firmly intend to code and do the fleet repaints for.

Sorry, but the "same old question". Howe did you do the Schedule´s? I mean how did you create the Frequencie´s at which the AC´s operate? I, too, have some from the 1980´s also from HLF, but I have no real clue on how to do this! Maybe, if you could just give some tipps, though, I thought on getting a present day Schedule from them. The general idea for these "representative retro charter" flightplans is:
1) find out what a/c types were used in the period you're interested in 2) find current flightplans AND GET PERMISSION TO USE THEM 3) break them down into segments (departure-arrival) 4) remove any segment whose dept/arr. doesn't fit the period (like, for the 80s, remove any Condor segment which originates in the DDR, etc...) 5) recompile and adjust, adjust, adjust, adjust.
If it's messy, then you've done everything right.

Hi. Why paint something twice? When it´s already available. I did all the Lufthansa and Condor paints which were not available last year. So you can get with my file at avsim: CFG (Condor): -747-200 (PW version, which are: Fritz and Max) -747-200 (GE version lsd from DLH) -DC-10 DLH: -747-100 -747-200 -747-200F -DC-10 The name is: retropack.zip The link should be: library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=95351Regards. -STEFAN-SUN_KING-
