Flitestar was just great! You wouldn't happen to know of any pre-BA-franchise schedules for Comair now would you? In fact I do. At home I have the full OAG guide for January 1996, and the franchise agreement was only signed in 1996 so implemented a bit later. According to Airfleets there were 2 ATR-42s and 6 732s at that time. The bad news is that I am working away on a contract at the moment and I will only be visiting home again before Xmas. I would gladly type up those MN/CAW timetables as a small Christmas project though, it should go well with some bad television and a few drinks! Are you looking at painting some of those beautiful red and green liveries? I only flew on them once, CPT-JNB, when I was living in Cape Town. Great nostalgiac and classic retro livery.

I'll also try to get the schedules for Sun Air, they were definitely active at the time. I'm not sure what they were flying then, possibly only 727, the photos and info online seem to indicate that the DC-9 and MD-80 came later. 727 www.airliners.net/photo/Sun-Air/Boeing-727-230-Adv%28F%29/1494047/L/&sid=dbf1994defef239a686e6fdb43e54c03DC-9 www.airliners.net/photo/Sun-Air/McDonnell-Douglas-DC-9-32/0170791/L/&sid=dbf1994defef239a686e6fdb43e54c03MD-80 www.airliners.net/photo/Sun-Air/McDonnell-Douglas-MD-82/0002124/L/&sid=dbf1994defef239a686e6fdb43e54c03There was also Phoenix Airways, a really weird one (for true anoraks) and lasted less than a year - launched and bust in 1995. Lovely livery, chance of schedules is small, but likely to be very simple FACT-FAJS flights all day. www.airliners.net/photo/Phoenix-Airways/Boeing-727-230-Adv/1580616/L/&sid=69c60bd7ee4e7317231d34bd9140c33fwww.airliners.net/photo/Phoenix-Airways/Boeing-727-23/0003018/L/&sid=dbf1994defef239a686e6fdb43e54c03This is NOT a repaint request just thought those two may be of interest as they were the two other small competitors at the time of Flitestar and Comair. Last time I was home I quickly jotted down some of the SW flights from that OAG guide, interested in their B1900 routes in particular. Some quite odd weekly or twice weekly services. A triangle of WDH-Luderitz-Oranjemund-WDH. WDH-Oranjemund-CPT and back. WDH-Rundu-Mpacha. WDH-Tsumeb-Mokuti Lodge-Mount Etjo. etc etc. I wrote them down without times and all flight numbers just to make some representative flightplans to include B1900s as well as Caravans (but to boost traffic in Namibia using as many registrations for B1900s, 732s, Caravans etc as possible) if you want I can also make 'pure' 1996 schedule for them (732 and B1900 only domestically and regionally and only 1 747SP to FRA) although traffic will be very thin at WDH. Best,

Check this out: If you can paint these textures up on the flyable version on the Maltby BAC 1-11, you can use the AI version from his site. There is a texture converter tool in his packages that convert all of the texture files to a number of popular choices (32-bit, dxt's (both with and w/o mips)). The AI model he did of his flyable aircraft is more detailed and better looking than the others out there currently... Plus, there are two variants available: the short "baby" 1-11 and the longer 1-11 500-Series. Only drawback: There are no exhaust hushkits modeled... Just the straight old stlye smoke-and-noise... ;D

I am currently using the flyable maltby 1-11 as an AI. I don't need to worry about the lack of hushkits too much as there were hardly any during the period i use.

The AI version is just a lod-ed version of the flyable version; so any flyable texture will work on the AI version. Just copy and paste the texture converter from the flyable version into the AI version and you can change the textures to something more AI-friendly... It's worth it, trust me! ;D

Was the Iraq 747SP ever released? I'm missing that if you still have it.
