Very nice. We just need someone to do some test flight FP's to go along with it.

Pity we can't REALLY do a flight test FP, zoom climbs, dives from FL380 to 5000... Settle for weekly LGB-EDW-LGB 2x or 3x? Besides the cold WX testing that was pretty much it for flight test centers for MCDD.

I have FP's waiting on some Diesel-10's, too... Thai 1990's, American 1994, Northwest 1993/4, and a few others are just hot-swaps with other DC-10's...

If your computer system can afford it, the Aerosim payware DC-10-40 makes for a good AI jet. I have a few flying around and they don't seem to slow me down too much. They do quite well for AI. (Their L1011 is good, too...) Plus, there is quite a few paint schemes out there for that line of jets; plus their DC-10-30's. Give 'em a try and see what you think.

There's nothing to update about. Sorry. Don't worry, just wanted to check. Neither me nor my laptop can afford having a full-blown model as AI, so Aerosim (sadly) isn't an option. But there's still that -30 model one can paint up as a -40....teeheee. (Yes, I can *hear* you cringe over here in old Europe!)

No worries... I recently overhauled my tower to rediculous standards... 3 1TB HD's, 2 graphics cards run in crossfire, 24GB of RAM, and most importantly, it has 8 fans. AI has taken on a new look in my sim due to the ability of graphics chunking this machine is able to do. The Aerosim model is almost "simple" compared to the CLS or other models... making it AI-worthy in small numbers. I haven't tried it on my laptop yet, so you do have a point.

Was that the jet that Air France "accidentally" ran into in the caribbean somewhere? I've heard rumors about this... Pretty jet, nonetheless...
