I will say this: It took me an age to finally figure out how to paint a/c. I started with the CalClassic DC-6B and with Corel's Paint Shop Pro II and MS Paint, I was able to make the ones I've released. I'd at least experiment and try it out. (I was able to score Paint Shop Pro II for $30 somewhere and it really helps me out in edits with paintkits and doing full textures. .)

Funny when I help some one out with flight plans money never comes into play I am just grateful I could help some one out who was struggling or maybe doesn't have the same talent as I do but I guess that doesn't come into play with you. My point being if you have nothing positive to contribute to the conversation a reply is not really necessary. So I can assume you not really interested in helping me out on learning to paint the DC-6 and share your insights on the talent you possess.

I really appreciate your flightplan work, yet this doesn't entitle you to run around for years asking "Why hasn't livery xy been painted yet?" at all. Just because you're contributing doesn't mean that others automatically contribute back. If there's absolutely no interest in painting livery xy for you, it's simply the way it is. Period. As for "Why won't you mentor me?": Every flightplanner, painter, scenery or aircraft maker is self-taught and that's the only method that works reliably. There are enough tutorials to facilitate the understanding of the basic process (texture formats, basic tools, etc...), the rest is experience. In all my years around flightsim forums, I have never come across a first repaint that got laughed at by others. Never. So there's always an opportunity to start.

There is a repaint forum to ask for repaints and to my knowledge I have not asked why hasn't anyone done my repaint yet I was just bringing it up because maybe someone hadn't seen my post yet who is new to the group because it was down on the list and as you noted it was started 3 years ago or because maybe some one might have found it some where. Again I believe if you do not have anything positive to contribute then there is no need to comment. By the way I disagree with you for your reasoning in not wanting to help others. But it's ok maybe some day a kind person will do this repaint when it is of interest to them just for the record in am not telling some one to paint this for me just wondering if it is out there yet.

This group is about helping fellow members out not calling them out.

Easy you two... We all have had our fair share of row's this week. www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-31824040This is a community where we come together and share skills and our interests. It took a long while but I've learned some basic painting skills. I've been learning and growing into this hobby slowly. No need for calling anyone out or there to be beef b/w anyone. (So if a paint takes a long while to come out, be patient. That Tu-154M was supposed to come out my junior year in college. That was a year and a half ago and it was released only about a month ago. Good things come to those who wait.)

Haha Poor Christian... I'll miss Jeremy. Reminds me of my own projects here... My JFK was due out well over a year ago and now look... still adding to it I just hope everyone enjoys it as much as I am making it.
