I had this model running in my retro-AI-world for a while - but I deleted it again because it's a real frame-rate eater. Approaches into Heathrow were not really a sim-ride but slide-shows with about 4-5 fps. I've also done the schedule for Cyprus Airways '74. Since there's no AI Trident, I'm using David Maltby's UI aircraft and I won't do a repaint for that one. Christian Chris, what kind of frame-rates do you have at Larnaca with the flyable Trident-model??? BTW, when did Cyprus Airways start flying the 1-11s and the 707s? Kind regards! Michael

re 1-11s: There's a tt image from 1978 on airtimes that shows a 1-11. My flightplans data (1974) only has Tridents. It's from the OAG (not just the back ref. section, but from the labyrinth as well). re fps: the only aircraft I use from that pkg is the Trident - BEA, Cyprus and, eventually, one more non-european airline, so the impact on EGLL is manageable. DEFINITELY no Viscounts or Vanguards. I'll check the fps when I get home tonight. Exit runway when able Christian ps: there's always the "Traffic 2005" solution - frankenstein a 721 into a Trident

Sitting in the middle of the parking at larnaca, I had three tridents and an A320 in full view at 9.8 fps, which is about normal for my PC (1.25 GHz and 512Mb, GeForce 6600 256Mb, I accept donations).

Thanks, Chris for checking! It's the framerate-issue that prevents me from using flyable models as AI-aircraft. My system is also only middle-of-the-road... All the best! Michael
