So that's the problem I have at LHR!!!
I always thought it's the sheer amount of AI-aircraft that lets the framerats drop down drastically. But know I know it's the Tridents that are the killers...
What a shame - I really love those aircraft!!!

Paul,
Do you mean you have the BOAC flights coded or that you just have a timetable? I would like the files even with the lack of ai planes. I know LHR slows down but I can still manage. I already have BEA from this era.
I really don't have any greater problem at Heathrow than at any other airport that's anywhere near as busy: KORD, KLAX, KDFW; EDDF, for examples.

Yes, I did Eastern 76, but it never made it to the RAI website. I don't know why. I'm going to be re-coding that one anyway. Pan Am and American 76 are up. I'm going to be tweaking Pan Am to add some flights I originally left out, along with freighter flights.
Right now I'm working on TWA 1975. I've got all of the "Twin Globe" repaints finished and have started on the "Hollow Titles". I hope to have all of the paints along with the flightplans ready in a month or so. The flighplans might include freighter flights as well. In that case I would include a 707 "CargoJet" paint as well.
I also got my hands on a Royal Air Maroc 76 timetable, so that might be next.
Thanks, RPM.

Hi Michael and Andy.
My BEA plans are the full plans with all 60 Tridents in operation.
Now take that into account with all the other AI Traffic you can have about 40 Tridents around so it goes and slows down the sim some what. ;D
The Vanguard is also a frame rate killer!!
BOAC is not coded yet. Busy working on some "hardware" for Retro AI flight plans.
TWA July 1965 is coming along just fine. No arrival date just yet.

I've noticed a severe "slowing down" at Heathrow but hadn't looked into it enough to figure out it was the Tridents. They look really good, so I'll be putting up with the slowness for awhile. Perhaps someone will come out with a new AI Trident one of these days?
Take care, Kurt

Thanks for the info, Paul. I did win the 1973 BOAC TT (paid about $10). Do you plan to code that one soon or should I give it a go? I did find the Classic British Flight Sim site but I am looking for BOAC from the 70s.
rpm --
Great news on the TWA 1975! How are you determining the type of plane for each flight? Didn't TWA quit putting that info in the TT by then? Educated guess?

Andy, To determine equipment type, I'm using a 1975 North American OAG. I have an International version also that I use for "overseas" flights.
Thanks, RPM.

I have a 1974 North American and a 1975 International OAG but I don't think I'd have been willing to do all that cross-referencing. Would you like to do the same for United? I think they stopped listing equipment in the 70s, too. Andy

OK, I've bit my tongue as long as I could. Is there any chance we might see the next site update by this weekend? Not complaining, just very anxious. We've got so many good things coming! ;D
