While painting the Braniff/Canadian Pacific Hybrid scheme on N620BN I discovered I really liked the striking CP Air paint scheme so I decided to take on their four strong fleet of 747-200B's as my next project. I also couldn't find a CP Air 747 repaint anywhere or flightplans for that matter. So maybe this will spur someone to tackle flightplans for CP Air. I found a great site which has archived scans of CP Air timetables - cpair.blogspot.com. C-FCRD is first out of the paint hangar. Taking a page from Ralf I am posting previews here for a few days so that people can take a look. Criticism is appreciated and welcome.

That is fantastic. Has someone already modeled the CP Air 747's? I will probably still model them but just curious. Good to know there is a plan set available already.

Oh well no harm in painting them again I guess. I found the existing CP Air 747 it looks awesome. I am still finding my way through all the forums here.

The whole lot was lost in the avsim crash. I'll reupload them this week.

That would be great. Thanks. One question how did you get your metal textures to look like that. Mine are too shiny.

grey-white-grey gradient, overlay with dark/white patches for the panels, set the patches to almost transparent and careful use of the alpha (max 10%).

Thanks for the help. This should keep me busy for the next few days while I work on tweaking the metal textures on my CP Air repaint. Authentic looking metal is difficult to master.
