Third and fourth in the series of Braniff 747's for the 12/15/1979 flight plans. This time the subjects are N602BN, the only 747-200B purchased directly from Boeing by Braniff in the fleet from 05/79 to 05/82. Also N611BN originally built for Lufthansa and registered D-ABYG. The aircraft was on the Braniff registry from 05/79 to 10/80. Should be up on AVSIM tomorrow.

DidnĀ“t BN also have a single World Airways B747-273C (with a Cargo like front door and SCD) on lease in the late 70s/early 80s? Nice paints, though. I really love the Jelly Beans! Kind regards -STEFAN-SUN_KING-

Yes they had a 200C leased from World Airways, N749WA. That one is next on my list. The last is N620BN leased from Canadian Pacific but I can't find any pictures of that aircraft. If anyone has pictures of this airplane let me know as I would really like to finish of the Braniff 747 fleet.

Thanks for the complement. Glad to see people are enjoying them. To answer your question I wasn't planning on painting the 747SP's but why not do the whole fleet. I have one more 200 to paint and then I will paint up all three of the 747SP's N603BN, N604BN, N606BN. Last I will paint N601BN the original Big Orange. To complete the fleet. My Big Orange won't look nearly as good as Sheppard Avery's but I will paint it none the less.
