Another weekend, another batch of retro paints. These are staying with the Northwest/757 theme. Working backwards: Northwest Boeing 757-200 with RR engines. Just this one made it into full Northwest colors before being sold off to America West. Northwest Boeing 757-200 in basic Republic colors. Republic Airlines Boeing 757-200 in basic Northwest colors. As the merger became finalized, Republic took delivery of their final 757s in Northwest colors. Republic Airlines Boeing 757-200 It's amazing how deciding to paint one aircraft can evolve into painting four. I started with the Northwest Orient 757-200, and figured why not paint it with RR engines. After that, it seemed appropriate to do the one with Republic titles. The Northwest/Republic hybrid seemed like the most logical next step, and since I've gotten that far, why not just add Republic titles. Oh these things I get myself into.... Stay tuned too....Another heavy is about ready to leave the hanger. Brian

I've never smoked crack (though some would probably dispute that), I understand just one hit isn't enough. Same with Lay's Potato Chips - which I do know about, and once had the body to prove it - just one's not enough. I find myself doing the same thing - especially now with AFCADs - Raul's TWA '75 submission has me resisting the urge to do more AFCADs until after I get all the site files reloaded.
