chasensfo: Yes the regionals will be included, and yes the whole 1999 fleet is done (they joined Star Alliance in 1999 and that fleet has the logo lol) Jun 11, 2021 12:27:57 GMT -5
theflyingmobian: Damn you're on top of this lol Jun 11, 2021 19:08:35 GMT -5
chasensfo: People usually reach out to me when they paint late 90s fleets and ask about flightplans Jun 12, 2021 8:01:49 GMT -5
FSX Retro Flyer: Here are my huge and humble thanks to Michael Pearson for creating these magnificent paints for the post-CAAC Chinese airlines! Jun 16, 2021 11:24:16 GMT -5
chasensfo: Hell yeah, and soon the 1990s airports of China will all be open for business Jun 19, 2021 2:25:09 GMT -5
FSX Retro Flyer: The special livery of the 747-100 of Japan Asia has been painted by Michael Pearson some time ago. The repaint can be found on AVSIM here: faib_747-100_jaa.zip Jun 24, 2021 8:30:21 GMT -5
chasensfo: Yet it took until now for someone to point it out LOL. Thanks for that, link updated along with several others Jun 28, 2021 18:45:46 GMT -5
FSX Retro Flyer: Satisfying to see Iberia package being released with all their repaints available! Also, can't wait for SAS and AerolĂneas Argentinas in a near future! Jun 30, 2021 6:59:11 GMT -5
chasensfo: SAS yes but Aerolineas not sure, maybe some other Argentine carriers. Mostly European and US carriers for now unless others make surprises Jun 30, 2021 10:16:05 GMT -5
chasensfo: China too of course Jun 30, 2021 10:16:09 GMT -5
theflyingmobian: Looking forward to filling up Australia and New Zealand with those Chinese, US and European carriers too. Jul 1, 2021 1:18:19 GMT -5
tony: :) Jul 2, 2021 10:36:18 GMT -5
tony: Thanks for the lovely Aussie repaints. If you plan to do more heres a link to a great aussie airliner register that may be of help. www.aussieairliners.org/index.html Jul 2, 2021 10:38:21 GMT -5
theflyingmobian: I think at this point the Qantas VH-OJC Formula 1 747 is the only remaining 747 yet to be painted in AI, but I don't think it has plans yet as that was active in 2000 to 2002. Jul 3, 2021 20:11:05 GMT -5
FSX Retro Flyer: Updated and accurate repaints for the A320s family and Fokker 100 of Air France by Nilsfr91 here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PTAWTI6XbmtTP3TsCZeKXH2G_lv0YFbr Jul 5, 2021 15:39:25 GMT -5
theflyingmobian: imgproc.airliners.net/photos/airliners/2/0/7/0065702.jpg?v=v40 It would seem one British Airways 747 still wore BOAC colors in 1998 for some reason Jul 12, 2021 21:04:13 GMT -5
jetstar: G-AWNA was painted up in incorrect BOAC colours when it was WFU, It was broken up in those colours in 1999. If you look closely, you can see the overpainted white where the BA titles were, and the tail is showing the speed stripe underneath the.. see part2 Jul 13, 2021 7:41:02 GMT -5
jetstar: Thin paint on the tail. They never did anything with the lower blue though. It was just homage to BOAC's original 747-136 when it was retired. Its a pity is was not preserved. Then again, BA would not pay to upkeep the 707 at Cosford, which was scrapped. Jul 13, 2021 7:43:46 GMT -5
jetstar: Should have said Landor, Doh! Jul 13, 2021 7:52:35 GMT -5
theflyingmobian: Huh, The more you know. Jul 13, 2021 8:29:29 GMT -5
