I remember -100s stopped in ANC, did it not specify any transpacific flights stopping in ANC? By 83, only cargo stopped in Anchorage. The -200 equipped with the JT9D-7Q had the range to fly JFK-NRT nonstop. The -100 always had the legs to do west coast to Japan. Of course, even the SPs had bad days so unscheduled stops, while uncommon, weren't unheard of.

I just wanted to say thank you, Brian. A lot of us really appreciate these plans, and the added bonus of some paints, too! Keep it up!

I appreciate the note - I really enjoy building these and I'm glad that I can share them. I have this on-going list that I update from time to time when I find out new information(which seems to be every few weeks!) regarding which airports were used commercially between which years, hopefully it is of some help. drive.google.com/open?id=0B44VcEgVwXmbYzRiSnlqZnptWEU

From me also thanks a lot for these flightplans. They resemble very well my first summer. Thank you. But one question, if I don't have the airports required for whatever reason, can I use the present day one? Kind regards.

From me also thanks a lot for these flightplans. They resemble very well my first summer. Thank you. But one question, if I don't have the airports required for whatever reason, can I use the present day one? Kind regards. You can of course use the present day airport. When I build flightplans, I always use the ICAO code from 1983, so Denver flights will always show up at International if you don't have Stapleton scenery installed. I also highly recommend the "Use Alternative ICAO" function in AIFP. Once you set it up for your world, you can easily move flights from one airport to another if you don't have the airports installed. It will also alert you when you open the flightplans, so you don't have to go searching for airports.

I have a little contribution for you, a while back I had come across an October 1983(so summer schedule) timestable for Pacific East Air and never compiled it. I went ahead and completed it hoping it adds to your project, I do not know if they were listed in the OAG(6P was the IATA) as they were a small airline. Thanks again for all of these, I'll post it in your format LOL. Airline Name: Pacific East Airlines Country: United States Callsign: PACIFIC EAST IACO Code: PCE Aircraft: D8S Notes: In the summer 1983 they had 2 ex-Flying Tigers DC-8-71s and only operated Wed-Sun, with the DC-8s sitting in LAX/SFO on Mon/Tue. At the end of 1983, they leased a DC-10-30 and added a DC-8-62 in 1984 and started playing with a few other routes like ONT-HNL, LAX-ORD, and JFK-HNL. However, I only included the scheduled Hawaii flights in 1983 and nothing to represent the 1984 expansion(and bust). Download: Here
