I'm having trouble getting AI planes to do touch-and-goes. Using AIFP, I've assigned various planes touch and go landings and they appear to just be sitting out on the ramp. I had thought manually changing the ETA while checking the "touch and go" box would have the plane fly in the pattern UNTIL that ETA, but does not seem to be the case here. Any ideas? This is part of the 1998 project flightplans.

Try setting the time 5 minutes earlier and reload. Repeat until the plane is on approach, then it should do touch and goes until the ETA time?

No luck. At best, the aircraft arrive and park for the duration of their time at the airport(never taxi out for the touch and goes), and then depart back to where they came in from. Oddly, aircraft that should be doing touch and goes will appear and then disappear, but on the gate! Very odd...is it because they are IFR on the weekly plans?

Hi,
TNG does not work on IFR plans, only VFR.

Hi, TNG does not work on IFR plans, only VFR. Ah...I suppose there is no way around the fact planes can only do IFR or VFR all week? Such a shame an aircraft can't do IFR and VFR flights during the course of a week, I suppose there is no way to have a plane do IFR flights but then VFR another day of the week?

Not that I know of, short of splitting the plan into two. But then you have an extra aircraft to deal with.

I am in the process of removing touch and go landings from any IFR flightplans, and switching aircraft that are meant to preform touch and go type flying to VFR instead of IFR.
