I would like to share with you my favorite Winston Churchill quote, Mr. Jason... It goes something like: "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
I'm terribly sorry about what your HD did and I know it'd be sad to see you go. If you do plan to stick around, painting planes or hanging around the forums, I know your company would be well received. If you wish to go elsewhere, may your journeys bring you joy and peace.
No matter which: To new beginnings! *raises pint* :-)

I can't quit. I've got too much unfinished business My goodness, you're just like me! *Chuckle* Anyway, good luck with the paints. You might want to invest into a SSD, as they play along much better in environments with strong magnetic fields. Or store everything on a thumb drive in the first place.

I have a Western Digital Passport - 1TB that I keep out of the way and I back up to it frequently. It's nice to keep it around and slightly forgotten so if something does go wrong (in sim or on the computer,) I can always go back to a certain point.

Good to know that you are not leaving but I'm still intrigued to what could have happened to your HD when (according to what the technician said) there's is nothing wrong whit it.
I will be back to painting hopefully sooner than I expected since there was not to much to back up since most of it I already had it on my portable HD and formatting the pc and reinstalling shouldn't take too long. In the mean time, I came up with more representative flight plans for the European charters. I came up with Transaer/Translift, Air Atlanta Icelandic, Air Holland, Transavia, Martinair (posted already on the FP forum) and Germania so the next repaints will be finishing the City Bird set and the mentioned before...plus...a surprise that I've been working with...some friend...you'll see...
Regards Eduardo

I for one am very glad you are back,Jason.I see the repaints are up to the normal very high quality.I have been smitten by a bug on my other P,C one hard drive disabled. All electric motors have a magnetic field in Jasons case it will be a very large and strong one.
